Amber Valley Voices Trio

Amber Valley Voices is proud to have the following trio associated with our chorus.  We endorse all of them as excellent singers and entertainers, suitable for any occasion...

The original Amber Valley Voices quartet of Helen Hardy, Di Gee, Richard Wycherley and Dave Murray first sang together six years ago at the choir’s Christmas concert in All Saints church, Ripley. The following year Dave left the choir and Ben Paradise joined the quartet. As this four piece, we have sung at our choir concerts as well as many other venues.

Last year, Richard decided to leave the quartet and so now we have the Amber Valley Voices Trio with Helen, Ben and Di.

We meet up every week to learn and practise songs, accompanied by either the brilliant Ben on guitar or to Chris Lawry’s wonderful piano backings. We love learning new pieces and increasingly enjoy putting our own spin on today’s pop songs!

We perform frequently, under the Amber Valley Voices banner at various places and events. We are regulars at the Willowcroft care home in Spondon and have sung at care homes in Sutton-in-Ashfield, North Wingfield and Selston. We have sung at special birthday parties, Belper Dementia club, Greasley Gathering fun day, Kilburn tea dance and our most recent outing was singing at Eastwood Town Walking Football club’s Christmas party.

We love singing together, learning new songs and have lots of fun doing it. Hopefully that comes across when we perform.
